Dr. Meliah Carrel

Dr. Carrel grew up in Cynthiana, Kentucky where she developed her love for horses trail riding in rural Kentucky. She attended Midway University for her undergraduate degree and graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2022. She completed an ambulatory internship split between Thompson and Associates in Georgia and Weitz Equine in Minnesota before joining Hunt Country Equine in 2023. When she is not working, she enjoys exploring the sites of North Carolina, hiking, reading, and spending time with her cat, Bucko.
